Prices

We aim for transparency and predictability in fees to help parties in costs budgeting, but offer flexibility where necessary if it assists in deciding whether or not to confirm an appointment. If there are deserving circumstances, we are happy to discuss a fee and will make allowances if we can; please contact us.

Our fee proposals include all preparation time and advance work, hosting, the mediation itself, and general administration.

Agreed fees will be confirmed before a mediation booking is fixed. We ask for them to be paid 7 days before the mediation is scheduled to start (or if booked with less than 7 days notice, then on booking), otherwise we'll cancel.

Standard Fees

For a claim valued at up to £100,000, our proposed fixed charge per party whether in person or by Zoom for a full day mediation of 10am (or earlier if required) to 5pm is £1,000, plus travel and accommodation or venue hire (if any).

For a claim valued at £100,000 to £500,000, our proposed fixed charge is £1,500.

After 5pm, we charge £200 per hour per party, billed afterwards and payable within 14 days.

For claims valued at over £500,000, please contact us with details of the dispute for a competitive and proportionate proposal.

CMC Fixed Fees

We participate in the Civil Mediation Council's fixed fee scheme for disputes valued at less than £50,000. In that case, these rates apply per party, consistent with that scheme, for a mediation that we will host by Zoom:

For a dispute where less than £5,000 is claimed, £125 for 2 hours.

For a dispute of £5,000 - £15,000, £320 for 3 hours.

For a dispute of £15,000 - £50,000 , £440 for 4 hours.

Additional hours under the CMC scheme are charged at £100.
